Our company
SAS Berthet is a dynamic family business, relying on a young, forward-looking team that can rely on a know-how acquired over the last 40 years. We are specialized in exporting mainly to the Maghreb countries, the Middle East, Spain and Italy.
Activity and export area
We are based in the Rhône-Alpes region, close to Lyon and at the crossroads of the flows of beef cattle and breeding cattle. SAS Berthet is a private company which is mainly supplied by traders and markets.
Our structure allows us to manage a very large number of animals and our know-how to carry out all the documents required for export.
Motivated by our important clientele and supported by our President, Christian Berthet, SAS Berthet organizes several exports per month, serving the main ports of North Africa and the Middle East.
Our centers
Fleurieux Center
Ideally located at a motorway crossroads, close to the Lyon metropolis, this center is specialized in the trade of small calves.
It is also an assembly center dedicated to cattle for Algeria, equipped with a Round House: a new structure unique in France, which allows us to allocate the animals with more flexibility and ease, thanks to its circular shape and its interior fittings.
Cortambert Center
Based in the heart of the Charolais region near Cluny, with a capacity of 850 head.
Assembly center dedicated to cattle for Italy and Tunisia: comfortable accommodation and impeccable sanitary conditions.
